  6. Build a fort.

    You could have lunch of read books in your fort.

    Set your fort by the television and watch a movie in your new fort.

  7. Balance beam of obstacle course.

    1. Use tape to create a balance beam on the floor 

    2. Put down pillows or couch cushions and the kids need to jump from one to the next

    3. Allow only jumping/somersaulting/crawling/crab walking from one area of the course to another.

    4. Crawl through tunnels made from blankets or sheets hung over chairs and couches.

  8. Minute to win it family-style

    1. Can you keep a balloon from touching the floor for a minute?

    2. How many socks can you toss in the laundry bin?

    3. Use chopsticks to move the most objects from one bowl to another within a minute 

    4. Can you stack 4 apples and have them sit like that for 10 seconds? 

    5. Who can push a potato across the floor the fastest with just their nose 

    6. Long jump. See who can jump the furthest 

      1. There are many more ideas on the internet for fun and free minute to win it games! 

  9. Snowball fight

    1. Use your sock balls to have an indoor snowball fight

    2. You can divide into teams and use couches and pillows for protection 

  10. The floor is lava

    1. Set challenges to try and get from one side of the house to the other without touching the floor 

  11. Blindfold seek and find 

    1. Split into pairs. Partner A is in charge of making noises and partner B is blindfolded. A is given a noise to make (ie. Cow) and B is required to listen for the cow noises and go find the other person within the house. With multiple pairs and noises, this game can get tricky. 

  12. Bake and Cook!

    1. We have plenty of Brain Boosting recipes on our Facebook page.

    2. You could also opt for teaching your kids an old family recipe.
